For those interested in learning about or helping those with Dyslexia or other Specific Learning Difficulties

Thursday 8 JULY 2010 2.00 - 4.00 pm

The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre (HADC) is holding an open afternoon from 2.00 - 4.00 on 8 July, when people who are interested in our training courses can hear about the different levels of courses.

This may be of particular interest to mothers (with or without previous qualifications) who wish to return to work, but, of course, is open to all.

The HADC specialise in training those who wish to help those with dyslexia or other Specific Learning Difficulties.

There are three levels:

Teaching Assistants 16 week half-day course Accredited by NOCN (National Open College Network)

Certificate level 5 (for teachers)1 year course Accredited by OCR (Oxford Cambridge and RSA)

Diploma level 7 (for teachers who have already reached level 5) 1 year course at Master’s level Accredited by OCR
